Last Tuesday (April 23), we held the graduation of our first team of interns and we had the presence of our president, Armando Marchesan, program managers and our People and Management team. In addition to them, the new class of trainees also attended the ceremony.

“Our program aims to support and contribute to the growth and professionalization of the company, developing talents that are aligned and adhering to the Sequoia culture and the company’s business,” said our Director of People and Management, Diná Carvalho.

Our president, Armando Marchesan, reinforced that many professionals were involved in the program and contributed to the hiring of 8 interns. “We are talking about achievements, results and dreams, just as I had a dream when I founded Sequoia and I am very happy to see that other people are also achieving their dreams in this company,” he said.

“Sequoia’s internship program is certainly different. Methodological and behavioral training, the support of smart, out-of-box managers and a team of apprentice-based trainees with an unusual sense of teamwork helped to make me a better person, personally and professionally, ” said Guilherme Albuquerque, one of the hired interns.

Janaina Nascimento, from the People and Manage‐ ment team and responsible for the program, empha‐ sized that the first class of trainees was a success and that expectations for the second class are high. “The Sequoia Internship Program praises the young at the company, as we seek interns to do different things and apply improvements to our processes. We link the development of people with the growth of the company, promoting the appreciation of the culture of continuous improvement, so that we can count on qualified analysts, who know the business well and are agents of change for Sequoia ”, he concluded.

Congratulations to the graduates of our first Sequoia Internship Program class!
